Round Towers V North London Shamrocks (Reserve) (Saturday 6th June 2009)
Round Towers hosted North London Shamrocks reserve team at Polter Park Mitcham on Saturday 6th June. Round Towers were the more dominant team through out and Sean Mcguire opened the scoring with a point after five minute . Craig Mullin and Dave O' Connor dominated midfield in the first half allowing them to provide quality passes to the full forward line of Paul Wycherley, Sean Mcguire and John O' Sullivan enabling them to take their points. The first game for Towers was scored by Sean McGuire followed quickly by Craig Mullin leaving the score at half time Round Towers 2:05 North London 0:4.
The second half saw the introduction of Michael Maher at centre field and Sean Hickey in the forward line who increased the Towers lead with his first goal of the game. Towers lead was further extended with points from Michael Maher, Sean Mcguire and Niall Tobin with a goal by Dave O' Connor . Towers ran out convincing winners with the final Score Round Towers 4:12 North London 0:09.
